Week 5 Team Journal

First playable version of the game is created and dubbed as the Tumbleweed version. The creative name was chosen when the incorrect colliders were placed into our prototype which caused the enemy creatures to roll on the ground in a surprising ways. This version of our game has the basic player movement, controls, shooting and camera work while having the player and enemy models implemented. The mechanics of the game and the models were made separately by different team members in order to work on the project in parallel. When each model was ready, the programmer imported the model files into Unity in order to have the models ready for the playtest. After the playable was ready to be tested, we scheduled to meet some playtesters, in order to get our game playtested. The playtesting set up involved downloading the zip file from the programmers and installing it onto a laptop and allowing the playtesters to experience the game in engine from Unity. Following the playtest sessions, feedback was given by the participants and relayed back to the rest of the group. From there, the feedback was taken into consideration and a plan and list of updates were made in how we wished to proceed into the next step of the project.
